How do I care for my AKKESOIR?

A piece of jewelry connects with its owner. The plating may become slightly matted over time due to oxidation. Even our body chemistry influences the condition of our jewelry.

Here are some personal tips to keep your jewelry shiny and long-lasting:

Prevent your item from exposure to perfume, sunscreen, lotions, and household cleaning products.

Do not take your jewelry to the beach or pool. Sand, salt, and chlorinated water are jewel enemies.

Don't wear your jewelry during sports activities.

Avoid sleeping in your jewelry. 

Use a polishing cloth to bring back the shine.

Clean your jewelry with warm water and mild washing detergent.

If using a jewelry bath solution for gold/silver jewelry, I advise you to dip it only for a few seconds in a polishing bath, not longer. Rinse well afterward and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Store your jewelry individually in a dry place and close the clasps to prevent the chains from knotting.
